While I loved the idea of a cheaper 13″ iPad Air and thought it was a great value over the more expensive iPad Pro, I started to look at the true target audience for this iPad, people that wanted a laptop alternative at a cheaper price point, but the more I started to look at the iPad as a laptop replacement, the less it all made sense as the true cheap laptop alternative is the MacBook Air… so where does that leave the iPad Air, especially after the iPadOS 18 announcement?
