The Macintosh Portable has long been regarded a failure of the between Steve Jobs era at Apple- when the product line didn’t make sense and they introduced weird stuff like the Newton- but I disagree. I don’t think the Macintosh Portable was a disaster or a bad product, I think it was absolutely brilliant, and was crafted with care and intentional ergonomic thought that still eludes tech companies.
