PlayStation 6 leak says new console will be enhanced by Generative AI
YouTuber Moore’s Law is Dead has had a lot of coverage in the last few days, both in relation to Microsoft and Sony leaks. However, in the video below he claims to have heard that a key feature being designed into the PlayStation 6 will be the ability for AI to enhance the games it plays on the hoof,
The prospect of a console actively enhancing NPCs so that they don’t just operate with static lines of pre-recorded scripts is either amazing, or possibly scary (especially if you make your living as a voice actor), and even if any new machine is a few years away, it still seems far off in terms of what generative AI is capable of.

Helldivers 2, a new co-op third-person shooter from Arrowhead Game Studios, is scheduled to release tomorrow on February 8, 2024 on both PC and PS5.
It’s the first console exclusive published by PlayStation Studios to launch on PC and PS5 simultaneously, and it’s surpassed Palworld on Steam’s Top Sellers chart.
The game allows teams of up to four players to jump into action-packed, high-octane missions where they’ll face off against hordes of aliens and robots. Teamwork is strongly emphasized, and you’ll be able to upgrade your characters and use “stratagems” like turrets to even the odds.
Notably, Helldivers 2 has full cross-platform play support, so players on PC and PS5 will be able to play together without issues or limitations.
