These aren’t all the new PS5 games in 2024, but a tasty selection to get you started. It’s going to be a great year for epic world exploration thanks to Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Rise of the Ronin, Star Wars Outlaws and Dragon’s Dogma 2. But PS5 also scratches your indie itch, with Baby Steps and The Plucky Squire. These look like some of the best PS5 games of 2024 – we’re already anticipating an epic smackdown for GOTY.
We’ve kept to games with confirmed 2024 dates, so nothing from 2025 and beyond (sorry GTA6!), but there’s loads to keep us busy over the next 12 months. And we know we’ve missed hundreds of new PS5 games for 2024, so do let us know your own recommendations in the comments below.
