The PS5 console covers, which are available in both the UK (with a discount) and USA (without a discount) right now, come in red, black and white colorways, and add a futuristic new aesthetic to the PlayStation 5.
The plates are made from injection molded plastic, too, which is strong, durable, and shockproof (adding to the protection of the console if accidentally knocked over), while installation of them takes seconds.

Instant Fast Travel:
New Forspoken PlayStation 5 gameplay has been shared today, showing how the upcoming open-world game by Luminous Productions and Square Enix runs on the Sony console.
The new footage, which has been shown during today’s Deep Dive livestream, provides a very good look at the game’s exploration and combat mechanics. At the 1:04:00 mark, quick travel is also shown, and loading times are almost instant.
Wolverine Delay:
A new report about Marvel’s Wolverine — the upcoming PS5 game from Insomniac Games, the developer behind Marvel’s Spider-Man and Ratchet & Clank — has some disappointing news for Marvel fans on PS5 pertaining to when the game may release. Since its announcement on September 9, 2021 there’s been radio silence about the title from Insomniac Games and Sony. And as you may know, there’s still no word of a release date. Technically, this means it could release next year, but a new report has already gone ahead and rained on this parade.
According to a prominent industry insider and leaker, Tom Henderson, not only is the game not releasing this year, but it won’t release until 2024 at the earliest. In other words it could very well be a 2025 game or later. Now, Henderson does note this prediction is a mixture of both knowledge and speculation, so take it with a grain of salt, but it adds up. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is currently in development and scheduled to release this year and it’s likely the primary focus of Insomniac Games, though it’s a studio with multiple teams. However, its other teams have largely worked on experimental titles and Ratchet & Clank. You’d assume Marvel’s Wolverine would be handled by the internal team with exeperience making Marvel games.
PS5 Slim:
T3 has been following the rumors about a PS5 Slim console for over a year now, with us repeatedly stating since that we think one is inevitable – and within 3 years of the PS5 hitting store shelves.
Then, just recently, it was reported(opens in new tab) that Sony is planning “to launch a new PlayStation 5 with detachable disc drive” next year, and will do so “around September 2023”. That would be just under the 3-year anniversary since the PS5 console launched. Once again, it seems T3 is going to be proved bang right.
