“Upcoming PlayStation and Discord Integration Promises Exclusive New Features for PS5 Users. PlayStation and Discord integration might take place in the upcoming 7.00 update. The update promises some brand-new features for the PS4 and PS5 users, including some exclusive ones for the latter. The sources clarified the news after the last week’s update of the Discord mobile app. The application showed some hints of PS4 and PS5 integration. These hints made the community believe that the integration between the console giant and one of the top communication applications is now imminent. The discord update will bring new features where users will be able to connect their consoles with the discord app, to communicate seamlessly with other players. According to the “hint” in the Discord application, PS5 will receive more exclusive features compared to PS4.”

“How to access PS5’s secret web browser. Originally spotted by Arstechinca(opens in new tab), there is actually a “hidden web browsing interface” contained within the PS5. We presume the feature hasn’t been given its own dedicated app on the PS5 as it was rarely used on the PS4. However, PS5 users who want access to a browser on their console can now do so with this workaround. It’s important to note that the PS5’s web browser is not fully functional.
How to access PS5’s secret web browser
1. From the PS5 home screen, navigate to Settings.
2. Once in the system settings, scroll down to Users and Accounts. Now select Link with Other Services from the submenu and click Twitter and then Link Account.
3. A pop-up window will appear, which asks you to enter your Twitter account details. Instead of doing this click the Twitter icon in the top left corner.
4. You’ll be taken to the standard Twitter log-in page. Enter your account details as you would on any traditional web browser.
5. You’ll be taken to your Twitter home screen and from here you can access external sites such as YouTube, Reddit, and even Tom’s Guide.
6. If you want to visit a particular website you’ll need to locate a tweet or account featuring a link to it. The easiest way to do this is usually through the site’s official Twitter account (if available).
