“Is Parasite Eve Being Revived for PlayStation? Square Enix recently filed a trademark that has fans hoping for the revival of beloved PlayStation series Parasite Eve. The action role-playing horror video games have not seen a new entry since 2011, but that hasn’t stopped fans (including us) from keeping fingers crossed for a new game. Speculation suggests that our prayers might end up being answered. So what’s this trademark for? Something called “Symbiogenesis.”

“After Two Years, The PlayStation 5 Still Isn’t Worth It. Although the PlayStation 5 remains one of the most sought-after gaming consoles of the new generation, its overall lack of console exclusives and the continuing release of cross-gen titles means its hefty price tag still isn’t worth it. After two years of the PS5 being available to the public, the console’s impressive hardware has introduced gamers to some of the most beautiful, detailed gaming worlds to date. However, with many PlayStation exclusive games available for the PlayStation 4 as well, it just doesn’t make much sense for previous generation players to buy the latest PlayStation. It’s been two years since the PlayStation 5 launched, and the list of games that are truly exclusive to the console is extremely short. That number is growing, but many are getting sick of PlayStation remakes and remasters, which are currently leading the charge in new PlayStation 5-only video games. The Last of Us Part 1 and Marvel’s Spider Man Remastered are both PlayStation 5 exclusive games, and rumors have begun circulating that a Horizon Zero Dawn remaster may be in the works for the console as well. But, with the vast majority of PS5 games also being playable on the PlayStation 5, switching over to Sony’s new console doesn’t appear to be a worthwhile investment.”

“PlayStation App Update Addresses Major Complaint. The PlayStation App releases a new update, adding a feature users have long been asking for and introducing a new ergonomic feature. Sony has released an update for the PlayStation App that will improve its search function, which has been long requested by users. The PlayStation App was announced at Tokyo Game Show 2013 to serve as a companion app for Sony’s consoles. Since November 2013, this mobile application has been providing access to PlayStation Network community features, showing users’ friends, invitations, and trophies. The PlayStation App also lets users share screenshots taken on their PS5 consoles. On top of these social tools, the app included a search feature to find games and add-ons in the PlayStation Store. However, this function was not optimal and suggested related content instead of the searched result, leading to the frustration of many players. Many people have complained about the PlayStation App’s search feature, and Sony has apparently listened to player feedback and is working to enhance the experience of using the PlayStation App.”
