“God of War Ragnarök gets a PS5 bundle in latest hype trailer. God of War Ragnarök is less than a month away from its launch on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, and to remind you of that, Sony posted a trailer on Thursday hyping the more immersive effects the game can deliver through the PlayStation 5. Oh, there’s also a PS5 console bundle available on launch day, too. Sadly, that bundle does not include the stylish DualSense controller Sony revealed in its State of Play showcase back in September. It looks like it’s a standard PlayStation 5 (with a disc drive) and a DualSense, plus the game. The PlayStation Store does not yet have a listing or a price for the bundle.
God of War Ragnarok, in addition to the new PS5 bundle and the DualSense, also has a Digital Deluxe Edition available through the PlayStation Store. But the premium-stuffed, $199.99 Collector’s Edition and $259.99 Jötnar Edition are sold slap out everywhere — meaning the PS Store, Amazon, and other major retailers, too.”

“You May Finally Get A PS5 In 2023, Report Claims. According to a new report, the PlayStation 5 shortage might finally come to an end next year.
While online retailers like Walmart and GameStop have since made efforts to combat these scalpers, PlayStation 5 systems are still hard to come by nearly two years after the console’s release. While some lighter PS5 models have been spotted at brick-and-mortar stores in countries like Australia, most potential PS5 customers are still logging out of retail websites disappointed after the latest stock sells out. Sony has reportedly tried to counter the ongoing PS5 shortage by selling more PlayStation 4 consoles throughout 2022, but this is of little consolation for players who are hoping to get their hands on the newest PlayStation hardware rather than the older system.

“PS5 Firmware Update Makes Massive User Interface Improvements. Sony continues to refine and iterate on the PS5’s user interface, which was a little undercooked at launch but is gradually making great strides. One area it continues to champion and tweak are the Activity Cards, a feature designed to improve the speed at which you can access in-game activities. When used correctly, you’re able to jump directly to certain modes and locations, bypassing menus and loading screens. A new firmware update available today – although some may have already seen it earlier in the month – transforms the way Activity Cards are presented in-game. Rather than a long ribbon of different icons, these are now grouped together. For instance, in the PGA Tour 2K23 example above, there’s a section for Single Player Activities and Multiplayer Activities. Selecting one of these icons, then brings up a neat list of all the things you can do. Trophies have also been completely overhauled. Now, when you select the Trophy icon, you’re able to see the full list of available gongs in the game. You can then choose to pin certain challenges and even snap the list to your screen. Previously, you’d have to go to the Trophy Tracker and then tab through to a separate part of the system to see all of the trinkets available. This is a massive usability improvement.”
