“Ratings Board Leaks 2 Upcoming PS5 Ports. A rating board leaks that two games will receive native PS5 ports, and one of them received pretty high review scores when it first came out. A rating board has leaked two games coming to PS5 sometime in the future. Sony and third-party publishers have already released several critically acclaimed games on PS5. Although, many of them are cross-generation titles or remasters of games that originally came out on PS4.
PS5 is backward compatible with PS4, so these games can run on Sony’s newest console. While a game cannot use the full power of the PS5 hardware unless it gets a native port, this version can still run better than its PS4 counterpart. Sony even released an update that allowed PS4 versions of games to use the 120hz mode when played on PS5, but having a native port tends to come with its own benefits. Now, a rating board has leaked new information which reveals that two games are getting native PS5 versions.”
PS5 Console Actually Spotted at a Walmart. PlayStation fans are celebrating that a PlayStation 5 was found in stock and for sale at someone’s local Walmart. A console being sold at Walmart isn’t necessarily something to get excited about, but a PS5 found unclaimed and freely purchasable is an entirely different set of circumstances. Does it mean that PS5s are going to begin to be regularly found at Walmarts and other retails across the USA? Probably not, but it’s enough evidence for fans without a console to start getting excited.

“Spider-Man Remastered on PC adds option to link PSN account. An update to Spider-Man Remastered on PC lets players link their Steam and PlayStation Network accounts.
Doing so will unlock the Resilient Suit and Concussive Blast Gadget in-game, as well as two skill points. Players will also receive news, updates and offers from PlayStation Studios on PC or PlayStation platforms.”

State of Play or PlayStation Showcase rumors come a dime-a-dozen, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t some kernel of truth to these Sony rumors. Behind the scenes, events like these are often moved or goalposts are changed because of fan demands, organizing the various studios involved, and so on. It’s hard to say what’s truthful and what’s not because of this, but following rumors a PlayStation Showcase would take place in September (as it had in previous years), the latest suggests it’ll take place in October instead.
There’s basically a full month ahead when Sony could announce and host the PlayStation Showcase, so it’s impossible to pinpoint a date. However, recent developments regarding three major Sony exclusives could add more evidence to it happening soon.”
