“PS Plus Essential’s PS5, PS4 Games Announced for October 2022.
Hot Wheels Unleashed (PS5, PS4)
Injustice 2 (PS4)
Superhot (PS4)
The three games will be available to download on Tuesday, 4th October 2022, and thus join the long list of All PS Plus Games. Sony has also said next month’s PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium titles will revert back to being announced mid-way through the month, so check back for those in a few weeks.”

“Returnal PC Port a Foregone Conclusion as Settings Menu Leaks. Come on Sony, just announce the PC port of Returnal already. This version for the personal computer has been leaking for months now, whether that’s through SteamDB listings or the game’s own developer running it on a PC during a GDC presentation. Now a video of its settings menus has been posted to YouTube. You’ll probably be able to buy it and start playing before Sony even gets around to announcing Returnal for PC at this rate.
The clip shows someone messing around with the resolution percentage, screen optimizations, and DLSS modes. A few things we need not worry about on consoles, but important options on PC. The menu also allows you to customise the shadow quality, ray traced reflections, and lighting quality.”
“Sony Posts PlayStation Stars Scheme Overview, Release Dates. Sony has posted an extensive overview of its new PlayStation Stars program to the PS Blog, covering everything there is to know. The scheme launches today across Asia, and will be rolled out to North and South America on 5th October 2022, and then Europe gets it eight days later on 13th October 2022. The service is completely free to join, and you do not need a PS Plus subscription to sign up. Although, an active membership does provide extra benefits.

Sony’s new reward program PlayStation Stars launched overnight in Asian regions and Japan, and users are expressing their concerns surrounding a perk tied to the highest rank in the scheme. If you reach level four, which requires you to buy four full-price games and unlock 128 rare Trophies, you’ll be given priority should you need to contact PlayStation Support.”
“Hires for AAA Live Service Game from a ‘Flagship’ Sony IP Are Underway. Jetpack Interactive, a small support studio based in Vancouver, has posted job listings for a AAA live service game it is working on with Sony. The title is based on a “flagship” PlayStation IP, and will form part of the platform holder’s large push into the live service games sector. The Canadian team is actively recruiting engineers in the gameplay, networking, and rendering sectors.”
This appears to be the first game Jetpack Interactive will have developed on its own, with its previous work revolving around bringing other titles to market. It helped EA on the NBA Live series for a number of years before providing “engineering support” for the Steam upgrade to Dark Souls. It then did the same for Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2.”
