“New Web3 video game from ‘Days Gone’ director set in post-apocalyptic Pacific Northwest. The creative director of 2019’s Days Gone announced Thursday that his next project is Ashfall, a Web3 game set in a post-apocalyptic Pacific Northwest. John Garvin was previously the studio director at the first-party PlayStation developer Bend Studio, in Bend, Ore., from 1997 to 2019. While there, Garvin worked in PlayStation franchises that included Syphon Filter, Resistance, and Uncharted. He left Bend Studio in December 2019 after Days Gone had shipped. Ashfall is planned for release on PC, consoles, and Hedera, with no firm release date.

“PlayStation Insider Shares Update on PS5 Pro Controller. A PlayStation insider has shared an update on the rumored PS5 Pro controller. A Sony event is set to go down on June 28, and according to a report, Sony is going to unveil its new “INZONE” line, comprised of three pairs of headphones and two gaming monitors. The event itself has been confirmed, but the contents of the event have not, though in Sony’s announcement it did seemingly drop a subtle tease at INZONE. That said, at the time of the initial report, there was some speculation that the rumored PS5 Pro controller could be revealed at this hardware event. According to a follow-up from industry insider and leaker, Tom Henderson, this isn’t going to happen. “
