Starting next week, the PlayStation Plus subscription service will relaunch exclusively in Asia across PlayStation and PC platforms, with other regions’ relaunches to follow throughout June. With such little time to go, Sony has decided to finally begin revealing its launch game selection across a new series of subscription tiers. Sony has opted to combine its existing PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now services into one catch-all subscription family, arguably to face off more directly with its competition at Xbox Game Pass. Historically, PlayStation Plus enabled online multiplayer on PlayStation consoles and added monthly game giveaways, while PlayStation Now opened up a mix of downloadable and cloud-streamed game access.”

“Naughty Dog’s much-rumoured The Last of Us remake reportedly launching this year.
Word of a PlayStation 5 remake for The Last of Us first surfaced in April 2021 when Bloomberg reported the project had initially been in the works at Sony’s San Diego-based Visual Arts Service Group before Naughty Dog was asked to take over. Further evidence of the project’s existence emerged earlier this year, when a member of Naughty Dog’s QA team listed an “unannounced remake” on their resumé – a reference since removed. Yet while there’s still no official word on a Last of Us remake, rumours of the project continue to swirl, with ever-leaky GamesBeat reporter Jeff Grubb now claiming it’s set for a 2022 release.”

PlayStation has finally announced when we’ll be able to buy its first range of official custom console covers for the PlayStation 5, which will were first shown off well over six months ago. Back in December 2021, the company showed off three new DualSense colours scheduled to launch in the New Year: Nova Pink, Starlight Blue, and Galactic Purple, to join the currently available Cosmic Red and Midnight Black. Sony also confirmed that the long-rumoured custom swappable plates for the console would be available around the same time in matching colours. While the Midnight Black and Cosmic Red plates launched in January 2022, the rest remained unavailable… until now.”
