The video game industry is doing more consolidating, and this time it’s Square Enix selling off most of its western studios and IP to Embracer Group. Which, after that news came out – the apparent ‘big’ PlayStation acquisition rumor was for.. Square Enix? Are they setting themselves up for Sony? Who knows, but let’s speculate! Also, as another reminder: PS5 stock is still bad. And it might stay bad too. Bad to the bone. But in a bad way. Normally bad to the bone is cool, but here? Not so much.
