“Returnal Developer Housemarque Reveals It’s Working On A New IP. Developer Housemarque is working on its next game, an unannounced new IP to follow 2021’s Returnal. We’re likely still a long way out from knowing what it is, however, seeing as the game is still in the early days of development. Whatever Housemarque is working on next, it will likely be console-exclusive to PlayStation hardware seeing as PlayStation acquired Housemarque back in June 2021. Prior to the acquisition, Housemarque had already closely collaborated with PlayStation on a number of titles, such as Super Stardust HD, Dead Nation, Resogun, and, most recently, Returnal.”

A new leak suggests that Sony could have brand-new Sly Cooper and Infamous games in the works, which could be exciting news for fans of both series. According to a new leak, there might be new Infamous and Sly Cooper games in development at Sony. Before PlayStation developer Sucker Punch wowed fans with 2020’s open-world samurai epic Ghost Of Tsushima, it made a name for itself with the zany crime caper platforming series Sly Cooper, which started the titular raccoon thief and his band of anthropomorphic thieves as they traveled the world in search of priceless treasures. As the years went on, Sucker Punch would trade the humor and bright colors of Sly for the grittier open-world setting of the Infamous series, which put players in the role of superpowered beings who could become either the world’s newest heroes or greatest threats based on a player’s choices.”

Ghost of Tsushima: Legends is labeled as a trial on the PlayStation Store for PS Plus Subscribers, but players shouldn’t worry. The PlayStation Plus games for March 2022 are now available on the PlayStation Store, and it seems like users are generally pleased with this month’s selection. PlayStation Plus subscribers can now play ARK: Survival Evolved, Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, Ghostrunner, and Team Sonic Racing at no extra cost.”

“Sony Has Reportedly Shipped Secret PlayStation Prototypes to Virginia. As Sony heads into the second year of the PS5 lifecycle, and as the pandemic turns a corner, the Japanese company will certainly be ramping up production on its most popular system to get it into as many gamers’ households as possible. Couple that with the newly revealed PlayStation VR2, and it’s looking like Sony will definitely have its hands full in 2022. However, it seems like secret PlayStation prototypes have sprung up in Virginia, having been recently shipped from London in November. It is not currently clear what sort of PlayStation systems these are. Gaming site Tweak Town recently unearthed a ledger from Sony Interactive Entertainment’s exports that details 700kgs worth of video game console prototypes. This 4-carton package was shipped on November 16, 2021 from Sony’s headquarters in London to Norfolk Virginia, although exactly why it has landed in Virginia remains a mystery. PlayStation’s main headquarters currently sits in San Mateo, California, so it is likely Virginia was just a stop along the journey to the west coast.”
