Today, they officially announced that Call of Duty 2022 is officially a sequel to Modern Warfare 2019 and will also release with Warzone 2. Modern Warfare 2 confirmed for Call of Duty 2022! Call of Duty is officially heading back to the present day, with Modern Warfare 2 finally confirmed after huge speculation. Patrick Kelly stated \u201cit should be obvious\u201d that they\u2019re working on the game after the huge success of 2019\u2019s Modern Warfare, which has sold over 30 million copies. Call of Duty 2022 will be built on an entirely new game engine.
