If you have a PS5 & use external hard drive, NEVER do this! Here’s why… Here’s some important tips for using Playstation 5 extended storage! I’m actually surprised that some Playstation users are doing this wrong. When using an external hard drive with your PS5, remember to ALWAYS use the back USB ports & NEVER use the front one. If you do this, your Playstation 5 extended hard drive will not work. Always remember to safely eject your PS5 external hard drive BEFORE unplugging it.. If you don’t do this, it’s possible you will have corrupt data on your hard drive.
